Taiwan Josh Williams

Josh Williams was born in Richmond, California and was raised in Arkansas and Kansas. At the age of 19 he moved back to California to pursue his dream as a dancer.

Jumping into the dance scene in Sacramento, Josh met many freestyle dancers and began to learn from them. Performing at birthday parties, at local talent shows and battling in a variety of jams, Josh has grown and found his own dance style.

Josh has been teaching at Impulse for three years and continues to learn from the other teachers at the studio in different styles of dance: ballet and contemporary. In 2011, Josh auditioned for So You Think You Can Dance season 8 and was one elimination round away from the top 20. He has also auditioned for ABDC with his crew “The Goodfellas” and made it to callbacks. The Goodfellas placed #1 at Collaboration and #4 at World of Dance Bay Area 2012.

Josh has auditioned for America’s Got Talent through Youtube and became one of the finalists. Since he’s been working at the studio he has mentored students and choreographed solos and duos; which have won top awards! He has received Top Choreography awards and Solo choreography awards! Signed to M.S.A. talent agency in Los Angeles, California.

Every since his move to L.A less then a year in a half ago Josh has danced for artist such as Chris Brown, Jason Derulo, Pharell, Tank, T.I, E40 Etc. He’s also done commercial work in the industry, and continues to push himself to do any and every type of job possible.

He now teaches at Millennium Dance Complex, and he hopes to inspire everyone and dance all over and show the world what he’s got.
